This conference table is a great reproduction of the functional yet sophisticated table created by Eames. The large conference table represents Eames’ focus on functionality and modern appearance. Charles and Ray Eames designed this table 1964 for the Herman Miller collection. This conference table goes very well with Eames iconic lithe desk chairs or conference chairs.
This Charles Eames Style Conference Table is built to a very high quality standard. While the picture below shows the black ash finish, this table is also available with a walnut wood top. The table top is 3cm thick and rests on a chromed aluminium frame which ensures its contemporary and luxurious look. The the table is slightly curved which makes it even more practical to sit around with a larger group.
The Charles Eames Style Conference Table is available in three different lenghts: 300cm, 330cm, and 350cm which correspond to the length of the table top which has a width of 120cm and a height of 72cm. The legs are also adjustable for uneven floors to a 15mm variation. At their widest, the legs have a width of 99cm.
However, it is important to note that this table is very heavy which makes it stable but hard to lift. This table is delivered unassembled and requires a few people to lift it and assemble it. It is also worth noting that the pieces are quite large but luckily the table’s surface comes in two separate pieces (in the case of the 300cm one they will be 150cm each) which makes it possible to move it into an office.
